Recognition Awards

There are occasions when recognition is more important than a monetary award. A 'Thank you' can say so much. There are bowling members who put their heart and soul into ensuring their clubs have the best available facilities, events and playing experience. Often these people are unsung heros and now we aim to  recognise these heros, on behalf of their clubs and for the County to see.   

On behalf of Brookfield Electric Bowling Club, we Recognise Keith Miller. Until the start of the 2022 season Keith had been the bedrock and leading light of the green and grounds the club grounds weekly gardening team. Until recently, he was Fixture Secretary and also researched and wrote a history of the club, from its inception, so that the Club now have a published account for their centenary next year. Now in his nineties and suffering ill health, we send him every best wish.
